Javier Banuelos is a lifelong resident of Aurora, a devoted husband, and a proud father of two. He is deeply committed to ensuring Aurora is a place where families feel safe, thrive, and have access to meaningful opportunities.

Javier grew up in Aurora, attending both School Districts 131 and 204 before graduating from Waubonsie Valley High School. His deep roots in the community give him a firsthand understanding of its challenges and its incredible potential.

With 15 years of experience in the mental health field, Javier proudly works for SkinCure Oncology, where he helps people with care and compassion. These experiences have shaped his belief in the importance of listening, understanding, and taking action to support others—qualities he brings to his public service.

As your alderman, Javier will focus on uniting the community, amplifying every voice, and creating an environment where families, small businesses, and neighborhoods can thrive. He is dedicated to working hard to help Aurora reach its full potential.
